Southampton has a charity shop run by a vegan animal charity! It opened as a pop-up in the Marlands Shopping Centre in central Southampton in late 2017, but moved to Woolston in August 2019.

They are a neighbourhood co-op aiming to provide literature and information that would not otherwise be available. They sell 'conventional' books, but have retained their commitment to stocking alternative and challenging publications. They also stock a large range of fair trade and wholefood goodies from biscuits to bogrolls, all suitable for vegetarians and a good portion suitable for vegans. They moved in Autumn 2018 a little further down the street.

Wilton Wholefoods, Salisbury. www.wiltonwholefoods.co.uk. Not a shop but a market stall every Saturday in Market Square, and one of the owners is vegetarian. Wilton Wholefoods are also wholefood distributors, supplying many healthfood shops.
